Pinkerton Road Kickstarter ending very soon! Pledge now!

The new game studio of Jane Jensen, creator of the Gabriel Knight series, and husband and composer Robert Holmes is already bound to happen. YES! They have reached the $300,000 target of the kickstarter to get their brand new studio, Pinkerton Road, going and have already announced to make not one, but TWO, games the coming year. The first game will be Moebius, a game in the style of Gabriel Knight where you will investigate a series of events around the globe and undercover some startling truths about the nature of life and time. But, the Kickstarter has not ended yet! As we're writing this we still have a little over a day, to push the Pinkerton Road Kickstarter budget a bit further and give it a real headstart to the path of success. Plenty of prizes if you participate which will no longer be available afterwards, so here is your final opportunity!

Also, Jane surprized her fans with a unique audio interview. Fans of Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within and Jane Jensen's work in general will love this one. Dean Erickson (Gabriel Knight), Peter Lucas (Baron Von Glower) and Will Binder (movie director) with Jane as the moderator of the interview about Gabriel Knight 2! Below is the first part of the video. the other 3 parts can be seen here.

Sierra veterans return in full force!

With fans screaming for years for a return of top-quality adventure games, three of the most legendary game designers and designer teams are making a return to the gaming world and they mean business! Al Lowe, the creator of legendary Leisure Suit Larry, Jane Jensen, creator of the infamous Gabriel Knight series, and the two guys from Andromeda have all returned to please both the "old" fans and reach out to the new gaming generation and deliver the quality from the Sierra days! Check this out!

Pinkerton Road is the new game studio started by game veterans Jane Jensen and Robert Holmes. Their focus is 3rd person adventure games for PC and tablets with rich stories, gorgeous art and seamlessly fun play. The studio will use a new model, "Community Supported Gaming" (CSG) to fund and develop their games. Their kickstarter, which runs until May 19, is here. Or visit their new webpage at http://pinkertonroad.com/.

Leisure Suit Larry is finally coming back, and this time Larry's creator Al Lowe himself, together with Josh Mandel and the Replay Games team, are the ones creating it. Their kickstarter runs until Wednesday May 2 and can be found here.

And yes, also the two guys from Andromeda, Scott Murphy and Mark Crowe, have returned! A little older, a little wider (well, at least Mark) and a bit more demented than ever (a toss-up there), they're both ludicrously psyched to be working together again. Combine that with what literally seems like years of pent-up intergalactic pressurized cabin fever to go with it and they have some real stuff to share! Check out their brand new website for more information - guysfromandromeda.com/

Winnie the Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood is inserted in the Chest!

Early this morning a blustery wind shook the Hundred Acre Wood. It picked things up and blew them far away from their owners' houses. Your job is to find the lost objects and return them to their owners. But hurry, because soon the blustery wind may come back and scatter the objects again. Find all 10 items and their respective owners of the Winnie the Pooh universe. The all-wise owl knows a little bit about every inhabitant of the wood and may help you in your task. Beware of the bouncy Tigger and the mist though, because you could end up in a completely different part of the vast Hundred Acre Wood, empty-handed! When all objects have been returned to the right place or right owner, you will be the hero and Winnie and his friends will throw a party for you!

Winnie the Pooh, designed by Al Lowe, using the engine of his earlier game Troll's Tale, is one of the games Sierra made in collaboration with Disney during the mid eighties. Disney shared artwork from their Pooh movies which the Sierra artists used to come up with the background art and Al used as inspiration for the locations and puzzles. The game is an educational game for children ages 7 and above, teaching them reading skills, reasoning skills and map-reading skills. A physical map of the Hundred Acre Wood is included in the game box.
