Vivendi and Monolith announce Contract J.A.C.K., the next game in a great series.

BY NEWSEY MCNEWSERSON Owners of No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way have a reason to be happy today as Vivendi announced that game's prequel is in development at Monolith. That's right, prequel. Contract J.A.C.K. brings a new stand alone single player experience to the PC this November. But stealth lovers beware, this newest is going to bring the game out of the shadows and into harm's way (hahaha, I'm great) as the game focuses more on flat out action and less sneaking around like a little wussy baby child.

Staying in the No One Lives Forever universe, Contract J.A.C.K. will give players a look at the evil side of life by playing as John Jack, an employee of the world renowned evil doer corporation H.A.R.M.. Jack gets a mission from the chief assassin of that agency, under duress apparently. An Italian syndicate is trying to harm H.A.R.M. (man I just keep rolling with these ones!) and Jack's got to stop them. Fight against enemies and "ridiculous odds" in order to win the day and make sure the organization lives to draw up all sorts of evil plans in the future.

"In Contract J.A.C.K., Monolith is developing a fresh experience that will provide action gamers with more of what they have been asking for," said Phil O'Neil, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Vivendi Universal Games. "Monolith is creating the Contract J.A.C.K. storyline so both NOLF fans and newcomers to the NOLF universe can enjoy this new standalone experience."

Also included in the game will be new "robust" multiplayer content and a nice clip of mod-making tools for the more adventurous and industrious gamers out there. Look for Contract J.A.C.K. to hit stores this November at a price point of $29.99.
