A sealed copy of the rare Ultima: Escape from Mt. Drash was auctioned on eBay. Opening at US$949.95 on November 30, the auctioned ended on December 11 after 30 bids, with the winning bid at a whopping US$9002.00, setting the record for highest bid ever on a Sierra item to our knowledge.
Although very rare, it wasn't the first time a copy of this game was auctioned on eBay, with previous listings ending up in a range from $2,000 to $5,000. It was however the first time a sealed copy was auctioned, so expectations were very high. Congratulations to the winner!
