Walkthrough



Buckazoids:
These are found in Roger's pockets at the beginning of the game. Roger starts with 12, and can accumulate more when he raids Ridgenald Borstein's wallet for a total of 501 buckazoids. These are used to buy entry into Al's resort and purchase a can of Smarm at the bootcamp.
Pie-ery Bottle:
Carried over from Romanticon-7, Roger uses it to swap for the Holy MC Cola Bottle during his thieves' guild side-quest.
Mallard OS Case:
This is found in the Mallard's captain's chair. Open it to find the Mallard OS, and search it again shortly after to bypass the game's copyright protection.
Mallard OS Recovery Disc:
Found inside its case, you can use it to re-install the Mallard's operating system.
Duct Tape:
Found in Aluminum Mallard, Roger uses the duct tape to attach the flashlight to the vacuum cleaner, and also uses it to repair the security camera in the convenience store.
Highly-Reflective Octuple-Thick Pseudo-Morphed Windshield Glass:
This is found outside the Aluminum Mallard. The glass is a red herring and is mostly useless throughout the game. However, if you show it to every character in the game (including the snowman and all the people in the easter egg room), it unlocks a secret developers' ending.
Bucket:
Found on Al's beach after buying your way into the resort, this can be used to collect water, bury the barbell in the sand, and combine with the drill line to create a fishing bucket. There's a running gag in the game where Roger tries to impress people with his plastic bucket.
Bucket of Water:
Created by filling the bucket with water from the ice caverns, Roger uses the water to disable Robot Al so Al can stop interfering with Roger's puzzle-solving.
Fake Mustache:
Found on the pirate teddy bear in Al's souvenir shop, the clerk gives it to Roger out of sympathy. Roger can use it as a disguise when walking around the apes' camp.
Bone:
This is found in the teeth of the giant skeleton. Nobody knows whose bone it is, but you can use it to destroy the snowman or knock the General out.
Blanket:
Found north of the Aluminum Mallard hanging on a tree, Roger can use it on Merf's vacuum to create a fake ghost.
Wallet:
The wallet is found after destroying the snowman. Inside the wallet is 500 buckazoids and an ID belong to a health inspector - one Ridgenald Borstein.
Clipboard:
Roger receives the clipboard after filling out the customer survey in Al's resort. He can opt to return it to the clerk, but needs it to get into the boot camp later. If Al is still activated, Roger won't be able to leave the resort with it. Roger will also need the clipboard to create a fake health inspection later in the camp.
Lock-pick:
Roger receives it from Rulf after giving him the password for the thieves' guild. It can be used to unlock Merf's hut as well as remove the manacle from Roger's leg later in the game.
Flashlight:
Found in Merf's hut, Roger use duct tape to attach it to the vacuum cleaner in order to help create the fake ghost.
Health Inspector ID:
This is found in Ridgenald Borstein's wallet. Roger uses the picture as a template for a disguise, and needs it to get into the camp.
Vacuum Remote:
Roger takes it after moving the vacuum cleaner in Merf's hut. Roger uses it to activate the vacuum cleaner when he's hiding from Merf.
Tiny Umbrella:
This comes with Roger's drink at the Furkunz bar. Roger can give it to the Penguin to help against the leaky pipe and win his friendship.
Fortress Plans:
These are hidden in Merf's safe. You'll need these before you can enter the sewers, and you'll need them in the fortress to stop Lewdy from blowing it up.
Can of Anchovies:
These are taken from Merf's hut. Open it and give it to the little penguins to make some new friends.
Cup of Tea:
Found on the sill of the guard's booth after beating the guard at his own game, Roger can use it to burn through the giant lock on the closet.
MC Cola Bottle:
Found on the Furkunz Shrine, Roger must swap it with the pie-ery bottle to acquire it so he can use it to enter the Thieves' Guild.
Can of Smarm:
This is east of camp center where you use a buckazoid on the vending machine. You can give it to the ape-kid to mess up his puzzle, and later use the can to wedge in the gears of the sewers floodgate.
Puddle of Smarm:
Acquired after the kid sprays Smarm everywhere, you can use it to stick the permit on the clipboard to create a fake health inspection.
Puzzle:
The Ape Kid gives it to you after the Smarm incident. It shows a picture of "Astrochicken Forever" when assembled, and there's a secret code hidden in the signature that can be used to discover the team cameo room in the fortress later.
Exit Permit:
Acquired from Doc Nelzo after discussing Rodney, you need to get it signed by the Colonel before returning it to Nelzo. Paste it to the clipboard to create a fake health inspection.
Ship's Key:
Taken from General Forksmith after he knocks himself out, Roger gives this to Doc Nelzo can he can leave the planet.
Fake Health Inspection:
Created by combining the clipboard, puddle of Smarm, and Nezlo's exit permit, Roger must get the Colonel to sign it to receive the signed permit.
Hair Growth Serum:
Doc Nelzo gives this to Roger after Roger gives him the General's ship and an exit permit. Roger mixes this with a fire extinguisher later to create a weapon against Never Kenezer.
Surgical Mask:
Found in medical tent after Nelzo leaves, you can combine it with the air freshener to create a gas mask for the sewers later.
Air Freshener:
Found on ground east of camp entrance after Nelzo takes the General's ship, you must combine it with the surgical mask to create a gas mask for the sewers later.
Gas Mask:
Created by combining the surgical mask and air freshener, Roger wears it in the sewers so he can breathe.
Penguin:
Roger can help himself to one of The Penguin's followers after giving it a can of anchovies. Roger uses it to surf over the frozen waterfall.
Hacksaw:
Found in Roger's cell, Roger uses it to cut through the bedpost he's chained to. He also uses it later to saw the flaps off a cardboard box for a disguise.
Spoon:
Found in Roger's cell, he uses it to dig through the broken wall, collect salt, and optionally bury the barbell.
Library Book:
Found in Roger's cell, you can read it to find a tram code for the library. Return it to the librarian to distract him while you recover your inventory.
Tram Codes:
These are found in the recycle bin in the library. They automatically bring up a list of codes whenever you use the tram.
Roger's Shackled Foot:
After removing the bedpost, Roger's leg still has a length of chain attached to it. You can later remove the shackles with the lock-pick.
Catnip:
Roger finds this in the fortress convenience store. By shoplifting it, he can use it to get the security camera to take a picture of him. Later, on the moon, he combines it with a grenade and uses it to knock out a giant cat.
Walkie-Talkies:
These are found in the command room in the fortress shuttle bay. Roger must place one on the intercom and use the other while hiding inside the cannon to trick the apes into firing him to the moon.
Launch Codes:
Found in the cannon's inbox, Roger must copy these for the ape-men and use them to issue orders from the intercom.
Grenade:
Dweeble gives this to Roger when making plans in his shop. You can put it in the catnip bag to create a special bomb.
Sleep Charge:
Given by Dweeble in his shop, this is a very ineffective weapon unless used at close range. Roger must disguise it as a banana using a peel, and throw it into the evil monkey's box to put it to sleep.
Inkwell:
Never keeps on's it to paint the cardboard box black.
Cardboard Box:
You can find this in Never's office. It must be modified with the inkwell and hacksaw to create a cleaning droid disguise.
Box Disguise:
Roger creates this by painting the cardboard box with the inkwell and using the hacksaw to remove the flaps. He uses it as a disguise to sneak past the guards outside Never's office.
Droid's Head:
This can be removed from its stump at the moon base entrance and used to deceive the guards outside Never's office when they ask for identification.
Wire:
Roger finds this in the mine's entrance. He ties it to the bucket to create a fishing bucket.
Rubber Mallet:
Found in moon warehouse after getting rid of evil monkey. Used to knock out the smart bird in the laboratory and loosen the nozzle on the CO2 container in the Monolith Burger.
Plunger:
Found in the moon base laboratory closet and used to fish the remote off of Never's belt in the mines, as well as swing to safety when dangling from Mega-Vohaul's teeth.
Manacles:
Acquired after lock-picking the chain off of Roger's leg, Roger uses it to chain General Forksmith to the TV antenna.
Banana Cream Pie:
General Forksmith is guarding this pie in the apes' break room. Roger can only take it after Forksmith has been chained to the roof, and can use it to bribe his way past the guards back into Never's office.
Banana Peel:
This is found in the apes' break room in the bin beside the television. Roger uses it to disguise a sleep charge as a real banana.
Fishing Bucket:
Roger ties the drill line to the bucket so he can use it to fish the General's keys out of the pool in the laboratory.
Never's Drill Key:
Roger finds it behind the poster in Never's office after he learns of its location from the bird. This is used to unlock the crystal in the drill.
Forksmith's Drill Key:
After Forksmith drops it down the sink, Roger learns he must search the base's water system to find it - and later fishes it out of the laboratory pool with his fishing bucket. This is used to unlock the crystal in the drill.
Detonite Crystal:
Roger must remove this crystal from the drill's power supply in order to stop the excavation. It's used shortly after to protect Roger from Never's energy attacks and is lost when Roger is kicked through the cabin's door.
Fire Extinguisher:
During Beatrice's battle with Never, Roger can pick this up in the background. He can combine it with the miracle hair growth formula and use it against Never Kenezer to save Beatrice.
Never's Remote:
Acquired after fishing it off of the unconscious Never's belt in the mines. Has multiple functions around the base, depending on which room you're in.
- Never's office: changes the music to the theme song
- Hallway: turns back on Mayor Nurb's mind-control headband
- Vohaul's Door: Opens the door
- Laboratory: Orders a martini
- Lounge: Turns off the TV
- Warehouse: Turns off the light; Roger is attacked in the darkness
- Entrance: Causes droid stump to come out
Hamster:
Roger removes the hamster from Vohaul's power supply when confronting him in his lair. It is traded to Slash Vohaul in exchange for a shiny red wagon.
Wagon:
Taken from Slash Vohaul after trading the hamster for it and used to haul the barbell across the beach.
Vohaul's Teddy Bear Mug:
Taken from the Beach memory, Roger can fill it with chemicals and swap it for Little Vohaul's Kool-Aid mug to fix the first memory.
Bleach:
This is found in the Monolith Burger kitchen. Use it to contaminate the burgers in the production bin as well as drive away the spiders in Mega-Vohaul's mind during the final battle.
Mop:
You find this in the Monolith Burger kitchen. Use it to clean the spill in front of the counter, as well as clean out Mega-Vohaul's ear during the final battle.
Salt:
Roger acquires salt by scooping it up with the spoon in the Monolith Burger stock room. He can pour it over the fries to fix part of the memory.
Power Bar:
This is found in the Monolith Burger break room. Give it to Bronze to make him put down the barbell.
Minilith Burger:
This is a tiny Monolith burger taken from the break room after trading the Jumbo Monolith Burger to Charbie. Put it back in the production bin to fix part of the memory.
Jumbo Monolith Burger:
Taken from the production bin after infecting it with bleach, give this bleached burger to Charbie to make him sick so you can steal his lunch.
Crystal Squeegee:
This mythical cleaning tool is found embedded in Vohaul's subconsciousness. Once removed, it prompts Mega-Vohaul to rise and start attacking Roger. Roger's regular sprites are then replaced with Roger running with the squeegee. At one point, the squeegee is lost after dropped down Mega-Vohaul's nasal cavity, and Roger must dive down to recover it. It's the final item used to wipe out the stain in the back of Vohaul's mind and end the game.
