This is the first electronic Christmas card developed by Sierra On-Line. Originally first distributed among employees and friends, as well as stores as a promotion tool, it was later made available as a download for the Sierra fans also. The card allows to type in a line of text which would then appear as the card plays, particularly aimed at stores, which could promote one of their products or add a personal Christmas message to their customers.
This particular Christmas card uses the AGI engine and features various Christmas tunes, as well as a preview of Space Quest 1, and also promotes King's Quest 1 through 3 and the Black Cauldron. The card was remade with the SCI engine in 1988, featuring better graphics, some new animations, different tunes, the Space Quest preview removed and one clip replaced.
