Merchandise: Sierra Japan mug

These mugs were Christmas presents for Sierra employees in 1991. The printing company printed up 144 mugs in the wrong color of green. Greg Steffen called them, and they promised to print up another 144 in the color we wanted. Then they said "Go ahead and keep the ones we sent. No charge!" And those free mugs were our 1991 Christmas bonus. So they all show up at the Christmas party, because that's where they collected their annual bonus. It's close to Christmas, and not a few of them really needed the extra cash. Instead they received a coffee mug that didn't cost Sierra anything, and a ball point pen. On the bright side, the mug was filled with candy.
